I know, I know. We just finished Easter, we've been to church, ate the Easter Meal. Loved on our family and friends. But just one last thought before we get on with Spring. A word comes to me, Redemption.
We are now celebrating being "Redeemed in Christ", meaning freed from sin. Free from sin. Delivered from Sin's bondage. What a miracle. Ponder it People!
Ok, well now I feel ready for anything. So I better get to it. Love Mamabus.
PS. Check out this link-http://www.gotquestions.org/redemption.html thought it was kinda cool for reference.

"53Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. 54Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. 55For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. 56Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him. 57Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me." (John 6:53-57)
Diana, I have been pondering the meaning of Easter and the Resurrection but I think as Catholics aren't we redeemed every time we receive the Precious Body and Precious Blood? I think Easter is the Great Feast of the year that brings it all home. I do so love the Catholic Faith. Mary
I do so love the white lilacs. They remind me of the home grown popcorn my Dad would grow, so light and airy.
